The Royal Studies Network and the Humanities Lab at Universidad San Sebastián, in collaboration with the university’s Institute of History, Institute of Philosophy, and School of Humanities, are delighted to announce that the sixteenth Kings & Queens conference will be held in Latin America for the first time. To mark the millennium of the birth of William the Conqueror, the 2027 conference will focus on war and conquest, exploring the theme across historical periods and through the perspectives of the humanities, arts, and social sciences.
