19 April 2021 (17:oo-UK/18:00-CET)
The first Kings & Queens (K&Q) conference was held at Bath Spa University’s beautiful Corsham Court campus back in 2012—when Ellie Woodacre and Sean McGlynn put that first conference together. They never imagined they would receive such an enthusiastic response or that it would be the first of a thriving annual conference series for royal studies. This year we have reached an important milestone with K&Q10, taking place this summer.
Therefore, the April seminar will feature a roundtable discussion that reflects on this incredible milestone. Join the organizers of previous K&Q conferences held in Lisbon, South Carolina, Madrid, Catania, Luxembourg and Hampton Court Palace, as well as this year’s organizers from the University of Highlands and Islands in Scotland as, they reflect back with Ellie, the conference series founder and coordinator, about how the conference series has developed and grown over the years and where K&Q—and the field of royal studies—is going in the future.
